Travel Tips & How To Manage Transitioning




So I have travelled a lot over the years, and have found ways to support the transitioning process in order to minimise jet lag, confusion, and the emotional upheaval that can come from uprooting oneself over and over again.


Pack consistently - familiarity is key. Knowing where all your personal items belong helps keep yourself together.... otherwise you can feel a bit like Mr Merriweather (which is actually a great Disc energy if you tend to feel like bits of yourself are ending up all over the place!). Always putting certain things in certain places - building a routine into your muscle memory and consciousness - can really help when you are moving from place to place, and dealing with levels of unfamiliarity and change.


Unpack and ground into your new space - this is the first thing I do when i arrive at my new destination. Getting out of the suitcase and into the room helps my body mind self "arrive" fully and wholly in the new space. Everything is felt - so as soon as you can create a sense of "being" in the new space, it helps your energy body ground and relax, and let go of the feeling of movement and transition.


Create a sacred space - First and foremost, when I arrive somewhere I will establish my spot - This is where I will sit to do my energy work. I have a few key items that I always travel with that helps me connect to as sense of "home". Feel into what that might be for you. I always travel with my Bright Room Energy House - which I set up as soon as I can, to establish and ground a current of sanctuary and space to breathe and feel...


Reset rituals - again, a simple practice for grounding and restoring that carries the familiar with you - it could be a simple stretch routine to a particular soothing piece of music; a ritual of lighting a candle or incense - small things that you can bring with you from home that carry the energy of the space with you. Define how you start and end each day, and come back to that practice no matter where you are, to locate "home" in the heart of your own being (that is not dependant on physical location).

Holding all aspects on a Stargate - be held in the current every step of the way... I put all my flights, bookings, airports, luggage, hotels etc on the Stargate to purify the way, inviting Grace to enter and hold me beyond any karmic doorways ...


Look ahead on Maps - get a bird's eye view  - I find this really helpful so that I have a sense of "knowing" about where I am headed. I will look up key amenities that I will require (such as a grocery store, good coffee shop, post office) and establish a functional perimeter for my stay, which helps me consciously anchor into a destination before I even arrive.


Familiarise with your environment once you arrive - For me, I like to walk the neighbourhood, so that my body has an awareness of where I am and I can "feel" my way around. It is nice to walk with some key Wand Energies - you can purify the landscape as you go. Fractal Earth is a great choice!


Keep in touch - Have someone back home that you keep in touch with, that knows where you are from day to day, that will also really help you stay anchored in relationship and held beyond moments of feeling isolated. There are great apps you can use for this purpose if that is your thing - a great safety precaution in these times.
